About the Author

In the beginning...

L.C. Elliott was born in Ft. Smith, Arkansas where she was a voracious reader from an early age. A middle child in a large family, her parents put experiences and learning as a priority over material things. L.C.'s imagination thrived in a home filled with books and a library card with special privileges to unlimited check outs in one trip. While waiting for new books to arrive, she would entertain herself writing and sharing her own stories. 

Adventure Abound!

Although born and raised in Arkansas, L.C.'s adventures took her across the United States, to sailing and diving in the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Caribbean, Hawaii, and adventures further afield to Italy, Iceland, and the UK. She loves to hike and explore the outdoors and chose to live in Alaska though she finds Scotland and Wales her favorite places on the planet. She travels there every chance she gets and loves setting her YA Fantasy series in their magical lands.

Happiness is...

When not writing of her adventures in new magical settings, L.C. has  a thriving career as an orthopedic, sports, and women's health doctor of physical therapy. L.C. adores coming home to her lovely family; her husband, her two corgis, a cat, and her horse (or is it a unicorn?)
